District Development Commissioner, Rohit Khajuria today inaugurated Water Supply Scheme Nichala Badla under National Rural Drinking Water Programme in block Ghagwal and revival of Filtration Plant at Dain Dabbar in block Nud under Capex Budget.BDC Chairman Ghagwal Vijay Tagorta, BDC Chairman Nud, Dev Raj, Chief Planning Officer, Sukhleen Kour, Superintendent Engineer, Circle Jammu S.K Puri, Executive Engineer Surinder Kumar, Sub Divisional Magistrate Ghagwal, Ram Kesh Sharma, besides sarpanchs and panchs of concerned panchayats and general public were present on the occasion.DDC informed that the WSS Nichala Badla has been completed at an estimated cost of 130 Lakhs and it will benefit about 1800 souls. Whereas, the revival of filtration Plant at Dain Dabbar has been completed at an estimated cost of 17.40 lakhs and about 4000 population will be benefited by the scheme.He further said that 50000 gallons per day and 60000 gallons per day water will be added by the schemes in block Gaghwal and Nud respectively.
