"The National Voters Day is a very significant occasion in the history of the country and it reminds us all of our commitment as responsible and vigilant voters and it must be ensured that no eligibile voter is to be left behind from being enrolled."These views were expressed here today by the Deputy Commissioner, S. A. S. Nagar Mr. Girish Dayalan on the occasion of celebrating the 10th National Voters Day at the Government College, Phase - 6.The Deputy Commissioner honoured Officers who worked with dedication in the Lok Sabha polls, and those who assisted persons with disabilities in the polls. The voter cards were also distributed to the new voters of the Mohali District and the oath was administered to the voters that they would vote without the fear or favour and without the consideration of Caste, Creed, Race or Religion.The occasion also saw the students being felicitated who had performed well in the art, drawing and painting competitions related to the National Voters Day. A cultural program was also held on the occasion. Among others present on the occasion included the Additional Deputy Commissioner Development Aashika Jain, SDM Mohali Jagdeep Saigal, Assistant Commissioner Grievances Pooja Grewa
