Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Jalandhar Central Mr Rajinder Beri on Saturday dedicated upgraded Government Senior Secondary School Nehru Garden to the smart one. The school will have new class rooms with smart projectors and LEDs in classrooms and solar roof panel system. An amount of Rs 40 lakh has been. Incurred on the upgradation of the school.Later addressing the gathering, MLA Mr Rajinder Beri called upon the students to work hard to achieve their goals of the life and contribute to the development of the country. Mr Beri also asked the students to follow the footsteps of the freedom fighters, martyrs who laid their lives while serving the country as they are future of our nation. He said that India is country with the highest population of youths in the world and they have a huge responsibility on their shoulders to make India a superpower on the earth.MLA told that the youth play a key role in the progress of any country and they should channelize their energy in a positive direction.Mr Beri also stated that Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh is leaving no stone unturned to strengthen the entire education system for ensuring quality education to the students.On the occasion, DEO Secondary Mr Harinder Pal Singh, Deputy DEO Mr Anil Awasthi and others were present.
