Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday said that fate of the leaders who are undergoing detention from past five months will be decided by the law. He also said that no political  party in Jammu and Kashmir has been banned by the government.According to the wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), National vice president and Incharge of Jammu  and Kashmir, Avinash Rai Khanna while talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function at Tagore hall, said that the leaders have been put under detention and action against  them is being taken according to the law.“Any persons who will spread good messages and try to create good atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir as per the law, will be allowed  to move freely. These leaders tried to create bad atmosphere during the Municipal Polls in Jammu and Kashmir by boycotting the elections. They should have participated in the  polls, but they didn’t as they don’t want governance at the village level,” he said.

While replying to a query, Khanna said that no political party in Jammu and Kashmr has been banned by the government, but stated that the leaders are under detention and only  law will decide their fate.He further stated that the BJP took several decisions including Triple Talaq, abrogation of Article 370, CAA and others, saying that the party will not work  against the aspirations of nations and has not taken any decision that is against the nation. As per KNO, Khanna further stated that the opposition parties also should not spread  lies and rumours. He also said that there will be new era of development in Kashmir, for which the work has already been started, adding that every nook and cornor of Kashmir  will see development and it was developmental agenda of BJP that the Union Ministers heading various departments personally visited Kashmir with the works being done by the  departments they are heading.“The visit of Union Ministers was fruitful and there will be fruit results of their visit in the future too,” he said.National Vice President of BJP also  stated that joining of well qualified youth into the party from Kashmir was testimony to the facts that they have accepted the policies of BJP.
