Placement Department of Guru Nanak Dev University organized a Joint Campus Placement Drive of Capgemini company from Mumbai. Nearly 300 students participated from main campus and it’s regional campuses, affiliated colleges, constituent colleges and associate colleges. The company finally selected 36 students.These students were from various courses like  BCA and B.Sc. (IT). The students applied for various positions available with the company like Banking, Insurance, Finance & Accounting, IT Helpdesk and many more. The positions are available in metro cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata and Bangalore. The students have been selected at a salary package of Rs. 2.50 Lakhs per annum.The strict selection process included Online Test and HR Interviews. Finally the company selected 36 students, which belong to different institutions.Vice Chancellor Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu and Dean Academic Afffairs   Dr. S.S. Behl congratulated the students for this great success. Dr. Amit Chopra, Asstt. Placement Officer told that these placements are mainly because of the performance of old students of GNDU in the corporate world.G.N.D.U. has become the one of the best choice for employer organisations because of the high academic standards, quality infrastructure and various academic reforms initiative taken by the university authorities.
