The Motor Vehicle Department Kulgam today organized valedictory function to mark conclusion of 31st National Road Safety Week under theme ‘Sadak Suraksha-Jeewan Raksha,’ here today.The District Development Commissioner Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat was the chief guest on the occasion.The highlight of today's event was a cultural programmes inclduign Skit, Ladishah and traffic rule awareness jingles.Addressing the gathering, the DDC urged the stake holders to create awareness among people regarding the safe driving and safe road use.Appreciating the department for regulating the traffic in the district, he said that district administration is committed to provide better road connectivity by widening major roads of the district.The DDC also felicitated participants of essay and and painting competition with certificates and trophies on the occasion.ACR Kulgam, CMO Kulgam, DSP, DSP Traffic and other concerned were also present on the occasion.
