A free health check up camp was organized for Himachalis residing in NCR, employees of Himachal Bhawan and their families in Himachal Bhawan at New Delhi today.  Venkateshwara Hospital and State Resident Commissioner office jointly organised the camp. About 150 persons registered in the camp and availed free testing and medical  consultation facilities.Deputy Resident Commissioner Vivek Mahajan inaugurated the camp and informed that RC office was planning to hold these camps regularly through  various hospitals empanelled with state government. He said that maintaining good health is very important and it also contributes towards productivity at work. He added that this  camp was a step towards creating health awareness among employees besides ensuring their welfare. He said that various tests like Blood Pressure, Random Blood Sugar, ECG,  Pulmonary Function Test, Bone Mineral Density besides free consultation with orthopedic surgeon, cardiologist and general physician was provided in the camp.Officers and  officials of Himachal Bhawan, their family members, Himachalis residing in NCR attended the camp.
