Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department called on the Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu here at the Raj Bhavan.Sh. Dwivedi briefed the Lt Governor about the arrangements underway for the J&K Global Investors Summit to be held in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. He also informed him about the steps being taken for identifying and inviting the potential and leading investors from outside J&K.Sh. Dwivedi further apprised the Lt Governor on various important issues pertaining to the functioning of the department of Industries and Commerce.The Lt. Governor asked the Commissioner Secretary to ensure effective coordination with different agencies and potential investors and plan the activities of the upcoming Investors Summit in such a way that the prospective investment sectors of J&K could be positively highlighted.The Lt Governor further directed the Commissioner Secretary for maintaining accountability and transparency in the working of the department and take all the vital measures contributing towards new economic development in J&K.
