District Development Commissioner (DDC), Ganderbal, Hashmat Ali Khan, today chaired a meeting to review the progress of Rural Development Department (RDD) under the flagship programmes including MGNREGA, 14th FC, SBM and PMAY.The meeting was attended by ADC, Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba, CPO, ACD, CEO, District Panchayat Officer, Block Development Officers and other concerned.The DDC reviewed block and panchayat-wise progress made under various schemes and fixed set timelines for completion of all pending works.Healso took stock of physical and financial achievements made under SBM, PMAY and MGNREGA in the district.He also reviewed the formulation of plan under 14 FC Phase II, and status of works taken under 14 FC Phase I was also reviewed. It was informed that works taken under 14 FC are under execution out of which 77 works stand completed.The DDC also reviewed the status of works taken under B2V phase-I in the district. He directed the concerned to expedite the pace in these works so that they are completed before this March.The meeting also discussed the status of works taken under Convergence plan. It was informed that 50 works are under executions, which include 47 works under education and 3 under District Youth Services and Sports.The DDC directed the concerned authorities to complete all works under CAPEX budget by 15th February.
