Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, K.K. Sharma today said that the government has fast paced the disposal of grievances being projected by the people to ensure good governance and accountability, along with speedy implementation of welfare programmes and schemes.The Advisor was speaking at Public grievances redressal camp organised in connection with public outreach programme, here  at Udhyog Bhawan.Over 55 deputations and 60 individuals comprising 610 people called on him to seek redressal of their issues.A deputation of 10+2 lecturers demanded Assured Career Progression (ACP) to address their stagnation. A deputation of All J&K Sakshar Bharat Mission (SBM) employees’ demanded their absorption into Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.Another deputation of JK Incharge School Education Officer/Lecturers Forum and JK School Education Employees Coordination Committee submitted memorandum of their issues, seeking career progression, promotions and resolving of other service related issues.Similarly, a deputation of electric contractors demanded release of payment of works done and material supplied under SAUBHAGYA.

Meanwhile, deputations of Sarpanchs from Samba district projected several developmental issues. They demanded construction of bridges over River Basantar, up-gradation of schools and construction of link roads.Likewise, College Teachers’ Association deputation demanded implementation of UGC regulations and uniformity in age of superannuation with their counterparts in other Union Territories, permission for pursuing in-service PhD with grant of study leave and restoration of increments for higher qualifications of M.Phil and PhD.A deputation of JK Cements Employees Association demanded release of their overdue wages and resolving of issues related to their services.A deputation of All Departments Clerical Staff Association sought promotion avenues and clearance of pending promotion cases in due time.Another Deputation of J&K College Academic Arrangement Lecturers Association demanded release of pending salaries and regularization of their services.Several other deputations and individuals hailing from different parts of J&K including Jammu, Udhampur, Kathua, Samba, Reasi, Poonch, and other areas met the Advisor and projected their issues and demands.Advisor Sharma gave a patient hearing and assured the deputations and individuals that all genuine issues would be addressed in speedy manner.
