A delegation of Joint Action Committee of Graduate Engineers Associations called on the Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu at the Raj Bhavan here today.The delegation led by its President Er. Farooq Ahmad, comprising of Harvinder Singh, Firdous Ahad Bhat, Gandeep Pargal and Mujeeb Tak put forth various issues and demands related to Assured Career Progression (ACP), regularization of all in-charge Engineers placement on one time basis to address adhocism, Cadre Review and expansion as per the present establishment in all Engineering departments, filling up of vacant posts at all levels in all departments and implementation of SRO 42 of 2011.The delegation also requested the Lt Governor for creation of the post of Development Commissioner, Hydraulics, declaration of all engineering services as essential services and notification of transfer policy.The Lt Governor gave a patient hearing to the issues projected by the delegation and assured them to review all their genuine concerns for their early redressal.
