Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, today visited District Hospital to assess the quality of medical services, punctuality and patient care at the healthcare institute.The DC visited several wards of the hospital and took stock of the medical facility being provided to the patients. He went around emergency ward, IPD, Blood Bank, Dental Section and other wards and was appraised by Medical Superintendent that various facilities are being available in the hospital. He also took stock of the availability of essentials medicines.The Deputy Commissioner interacted with the patients and enquires about the facilities being provided to them.He impressed upon the authorities to ensure that duty roaster is strictly followed and patients are served with utmost dedication and sincerity. He also directed the concerned to ensure proper heating arrangements in the hospital throughout the winter season.Later he took stock of the status of the on-going developmental projects of the hospital, exhorting the executing agencies to complete the projects within set time frame.The DDC also visited Market intervention Scheme Counter, Kulagm.
