District Magistrate Budgam, Tariq Hussain Ganaie today chaired District Level Screening cum Coordination Committee meeting to review the status of various compensation cases in the district. During the meeting, the DM provided Rs. 5 lakh as compensation to Assadullah Bhat and Mohammad Ahsan Bhat residents of Hardu Dalwan Futlipora for damage to their property in a militancy related case of 2017.The damages to the immovable property of the affected was assessed by the Executive Engineer, PWD (R&B) Division Chadoora.In another case, the DM released Rs. 1 lakh compensation in missing case of Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar of Narkara.The Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar, who went missing in year 2000 was presumed dead by the Committee headed by ACR.The DM directed concerned to expedite ongoing investigations and submit cases for ex-gratia.Among others, the meeting was attended by SP Budgam, Amod Ashok Nagpure, ADC Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani, and other concerned.
