Ensuring punctuality of employees and improvement in work culture of the department, Director Agriculture Kashmir Syed Altaf Aijaz Andrabi today conducted a surprise visit of various subordinate offices in District Budgam and checked the attendance and other office records. He visited Sub Divisional Agriculture Office, Budgam, Sub Divisional Agriculture Office Chadoora, Soil Testing Laboratory Budgam and Agriculture Extension Office, B.K.Pora and found 10 employees absent from duties.The Director ordered initiation of disciplinary action against the absentees.During the visit, he instructed all the officers of the department to adhere strictly to the office timings so that the farmers do not face any inconvenience. He also stressed on improving work culture and warned of strict action against the erring employees.Joint Director Agriculture Inputs Deepak Kumar Kuchroo, Deputy Director Central, Amir ud Din Andrabi, Chief Agriculture Officer, Fayaz Ahmad Keen, and other concerned officers were accompanying the Director.
