District Development Commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav today chaired a meeting of District Level Monitoring Committee of SHGs scheme of Engineers.Along with others ACD Abdul Qyoom Mir, Deputy Director Employment Shashi Bala, Executive Engineer PDD Maqbol Khan, Executive Engineer PWD A. S Kotach, EO Municipality and other district officers of concerned departments besides representatives of Self Help Groups were present in the meeting.During the meeting, Deputy Director Employment Shashi Bala apprised the DDC about the status of works being allotted to SHGs by different departments and the progress of allotted works. She informed that total 50 group were registered in the district as per the scheme and total 98 works were allotted to SHGs from line departments including PWD, I&FC, Municipality, PHE, Education/ RAMSA, Mughal Road and Tourism.DDC asked the line departments to allot works strictly as per guidelines and stressed on strict adherence and compliance of government guidelines regarding 30% quota in development works for SHGs.
