The District Development Commissioner, Budgam Tariq Hussain Ganai, who is also Chairman of DLRC Budgam today, presided over 69th District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting at New Conference Hall Budgam.Among others, the meeting was also attended by ADC Budgam Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani, Lead District Manager Miyan Farhat Manzoor, Director RSETI, Budgam Tahira Parveen, DDM Nabard Junaid Hakeem, officers of line departments and heads of financial institutions operating in the district.Lead District Manager informed the meeting that the banks up to the ending quarter September-2019 have disbursed an amount of Rs. 651.28 crores out of which Rs.379.9 crores and Rs.272.0 crores have been disbursed under priority and non-priority sectors respectively. The Officer said the district has recorded a CD ratio of 94.8 percent for quarter ending June.It was informed that under annual District Credit Plan of Rs. 1328 crores, 26243 units both under priority and non-priority sectors have been established till ending quarter, September-2019.The DDC was informed that banking sector has conducted BLBC meetings in all seventeen blocks and actively participated in B2V2 programmes in which representatives of the banks and departments discussed, analyzed and addressed the grass root level problems.Regarding RSETI, it was informed that 15 awareness financial literacy camps were held across the district during the period.
The chairperson DLRC, Tariq Hussain Ganai, emphasized on priority sector lending particularly under key sectors of agriculture, horticulture, handicrafts, handloom and education and stressed on underperforming banks to focus on lending. The chairman instructed line departments to coordinate with banks for better performances in creating mass awareness and stressed on reconciliation between banks and line department. He also emphasized on speedy disposal of pending cases. The DDC instructed ADC Budgam to identify suitable 8 kanal land at Ichgam for setting up RSETI in the district.During the meeting the chairman also released Potential linked credit plan for year 2020-21 for the district. The chairman was apprised that a model village will be developed under NRLM in collaboration with Animal Husbandry Department.
