Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, K K Sharma, today said that all religions preach the message of love, peace and harmony and efforts should be made for propagation of this  universal message to create a better world to live in.Advisor Sharma made these remarks while speaking at the 7th Fr Raphael Jai Kumar Memorial Carol Singing Competition  2019 organised by Diocese of Jammu and Srinagar at Saint Mary’s Garrison Church, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.He said that the message of tolerance and coexistence is the bedrock  of all religions, which is vital for peace process.  He said that peace among religions is a fundamental asset towards community building and at the heart of many faiths, co- existence is essential for ensuring peaceful societies.He said that focus of individuals should be to advance peace for strengthening the community development in the entire  region.While highlighting the contribution of Raphael Jai Kumar towards spread of education in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the Advisor said that he has a historical  role which needs to be remembered and propagated especially among the young generation.The Advisor said that by holding such events in memory of legendry educationists is  a healthy sign for a progressive and prosperous nation besides facilitating youth with a platform to exhibit their creative talent.
