Advisor to Lt. Governor, K. K. Sharma today said that the public grievances projected by people are being redressed in a time bound manner by obtaining periodic feedback from the concerned departments and executing agencies so that deliverance increases on the ground.The Advisor was speaking at a public grievance camp held at the Convention Centre, Jammu, in which over 40 deputations and 55 individuals comprising 310 people came for redressal of their grievances.Senior officers of different departments were present and instructions were conveyed on the spot for ensuring timely redressal of the projected issues and concerns.The Advisor, while interacting with the people, maintained that a foolproof mechanism has been put in place so that the problems being faced by the people in different sectors are resolved expeditiously. He said that necessary instructions have been conveyed to the concerned departments for ensuring speedy implementation of various welfare programmes and the grievances being projected by the people.The deputations which met the Advisor included contractual  employees of JKEDI, local fund employees working in different colleges,  KGBV teachers, lectures working in academic arrangement in different colleges and polytechnics, NCLP Teachers, Master crafts men appointed under the Carpet Mission.They projected issues relating to continuation in their services, regularisation, release of pending wages, creation of posts for promotion prospects etc.

Deputation of JK State Joint Action Committee of Engineering Graduate Association raised the issue of one time regularisation , filling up of vacant posts, implementation of grades as per UT Norms, maintenance of central cadre of engineers and assured carrier progression.A deputation from Dacchan, Kishtawar raised the issue of establishment of degree college. Deputation of civil society  Dangiwachi, Rafiabad raised the issue of declaring the area as Municipal committee and construction of approach road for newly sanctioned degree college and other related issues.Durga Nagar Welfare Committee raised the issue of augmentation of PDD infra in the area.Meanwhile, deputation of All JK UT Associated NCC officers, Cadets Welfare Association raised the issue of framing of transfer policy and providing quota to 'C' Certificate holders.Deputation of Sarpanchs from Mahreen, Kathua  led by Chairman Block Development Council raised several issues like construction of causeway, up gradation of link roads, schools and called for their immediate redressal.Besides, several individuals which met the Advisor raised issues relating to the departments of Education, R&B, PDD, Planning and Tourism.Later, Executive Councillor of Kargil Syed Abbas raised the issue of stranded people from Kargil at Jammu and called for taking measures for their accommodation at Jammu besides making arrangement for their airlifting to Kargil.
