A delegation of All J&K O.B.C Maha-Sabha led by its Chairman, Sh. Kasturi Lal Basotra, called on Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu at the Raj Bhavan here today.The delegation comprising of its members-Sh. BL Choudhary, Sh. GHS Gujri, Sh. Mohd. Shabir, Sh. ML Pawar, Sain Dass and Vishal Choudhary apprised the Lt. Governor about various important issues regarding the welfare of OBC community including job and political reservation for OBCs, restoration of Backward Classes Commission Act-1995 / Act- 1997 and position regarding reservation of J&K OBCs identified by the Mandal Commission.The Lt. Governor while interacting with the delegation assured that the genuine issues projected by them would be taken up for examination and urged them to continue their sustained endeavours for promoting welfare of OBC community.
