Thomas Mathew, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), met Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu at the Raj Bhavan here today.Sh. Mathew briefed the Lt. Governor about the role played by the RBI in facilitating various banking operations in J&K to promote the socio-economic growth of the Union Territory.The Lt. Governor urged Sh. Mathew to take all necessary measures to secure financial objectives by the banks as per the laid down policy for their smooth functioning and economic growth of the UT.
