Governor Bandaru Dattatraya presided over the closing ceremony of State Level Hamir Utsav at Hamirpur today. On this occasion, the Governor also awarded the winners of the kabaddi and volleyball competition. He awarded first prize of Rs. 25000 in cash and a trophy to Hamirpur block, second prize to Tauni Devi Block and third prize to Bhoranj Block in Kabaddi championship organised by the Mela Committee during the festival. He also presented first prize of Rs 25000 and a trophy to Bhoranj Block in Volleyball, second to Hamirpur Block and third prize to Tauni Devi. Deputy Commissioner and Chairman Mela Organising Committee Harikesh Meena felicitated the Governor by presenting him Himachal Cap, Shawl and memento.MLAs Narender Thakur and Kamlesh Kumari, Vice Chairman HRTC Vijay Agnihotri, Coordinator of HP Kaushal Vikas Nigam Naveen Sharma, Arjit Sen Thakur, SP Hamirpur were also present on the occasion among others.
