The DDC Anantnag, Khalid Jahangir today chaired a meeting of various departments to discuss the demands and issues raised during B2V2 in the blocks Anantnag and Shahabad.Demands related to power, water, healthcare, education, road connectivity, construction of play fields, protection bunds, approach roads to agricultural fields, supply of high voltage transformers, HT & LT poles with conductors, establishment of sheep & veterinary units and handicraft training centres as raised during recently concluded Back to Village Phase-II programme, were discussing thoroughly in the meeting.The DDC stressed upon the concerned officers to examine the demands and initiate the process of execution at an earliest. The DDC stressed for construction of ramps for Specially-abled persons in all the government offices and educational institutions for their convenience.The officers informed the meeting that demands raised during B2V2 programme have been prioritized and process of execution of work on most of the projects as demanded in the phase-II of the programme has been initiated.ADC, ACD, JD Planning, SE PDD, Exens of PHE, R&B, PMGSY &FC, DPO, DTO, DEPO and other senior officers from all line departments attended the meeting.
