District Development Commissioner, O P Bhagat today visited Keerian-Gandial, Ramnagar, Hatli, Bhed Blore villages and took stock of drinking water facilities in Kandi and mining affected areas of the district.The DDC was accompanied by ACR, Devinder Paul, DMO Dr. Rajinder Singh, Executive Engineer PHE, Surjit Singh and other senior officers of the line departments.At Keerian village, the DDC inspected progress on construction of Bore Well and was informed by the executing agency that the Well would be completed within stipulated time and will augment existing PHE infrastructure of Keerian-Gandial area.The DDC also inspected the on-going work on minor mineral check post at Gandial.Later, the DDC visited Ramnagar, Hatli and Bhed Blore and inspected construction of OHT and was apprised that the OHT is expected to be completed in a month’s time.In Hatli and Bhed Blore villages, the DDC reviewed existing PHE infrastructure and discussed modalities with the concerned engineers to enhance capacity of PHE.
