Government-public interface   “Back to Village 2” programme today successfully culminated across 142 panchayats of the 11 blocks of district Ramban.On the last day, District Development Commissioner (DDC), Ramban Nazim Zai Khan visited Panchayat Neera where Visiting Officer,  Deputy Director Information (DDI), Jammu Rehana Bijli , informed him about the details of her visits to schools, PMAY houses and Panchayati Raj institutions (PRIs). She also elaborated about his meetings with Sarpanch, panchs and people of the assigned panchayat. Speaking on the occasion, DDC said that the last six days of the ambitious programme was marked with creating massive awareness on government schemes in various Panchayats of the district.He lauded the efforts of PRIs, general masses and government functionaries for making the programme a grand success. He said the exercise would help to formulate a concrete plan for over all development of Panchayats with the involvement of locals.Meanwhile,  DD Information  listed the development works completed by different departments in Neera Panchyat  as highlighted by the PRIs and general public including installation of electric poles, shifting of power line, construction of Pacca path etc.She appreciated the PRIs and government functionaries for working in close coordination to meet expectations of masses.
