Vice Chairperson Jammu & Kashmir Khadi & Village Industries Board (KVIB), Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat today reviewed implementation of KVIB schemes in Kashmir Division here today.Secretary/CEO J&K KVIB, Deputy CEO KVIB-KD, Development Officer Bee KVIB, District Officers of Kashmir Division and CDEs were present in the meeting. Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat said the targets under JKREGP have been doubled amounting to Rs. 25.00 Crore and directed all the officers to achieve the targets by the end of January 2020. She stressed that the cases already pending with the financial institutions under JKREGP and PMEGP should be pursued to get the cases sanctioned and margin money released in favour of the beneficiaries.VC KVIB impressed upon the officers to make sure that units have been established on ground so that genuine beneficiaries are benefitted. She further emphasized upon the officers to provide all type of handholding support to the youth in particular for setting up their income generating units. She further directed to develop Bee Keeping industry on modern lines in Kashmir Division to make it a viable option for unemployed youth and explore the channels for its growth.
