Slew of activities marked Day 4 of Back to Village programme in the Nagbani Panchayat with Deputy Director (PR), Information Department, Mridhu Slathia, Visiting Officer for the Panchayat, conducting inspection of Anganwari Centers, government schools, fair price shops, ration sale outlets, lanes and drains besides Dug wells.Slathia, during her visit to AW centers, interacted with the children and expecting mothers and enquired from them about the quality of services they are being extended in these centers. She asked the fair price shops and ration outlets to ensure quality and timely supply to the beneficiaries.Meanwhile, the Visiting officer convened a gram sabha at the Panchayat and held exhaustive interactions with the Sarpanch, Panchs, prominent citizens and frontline functionaries regarding their development needs and grievances as well.Sarpanch Vandana Kumari projected numerous issues and concerns regarding the growth and development of her Panchayat.Slathia exhorted upon the officials of Health, Agriculture, Social Welfare, Animal Husbandry, Revenue, Labour department present in the gram sabha to focus on ensuring that all eligible beneficiaries are brought under the ambit of schemes of their respective departments.
