Dedicated to 550th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma and MC Commissioner Mr Diprava Lakra on Thursday inaugurated a photo exhibition on the life of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, in company Bagh.The photo exhibition has been organized by the Field Outreach Bureau, Government of India.Addressing the gathering in the exhibition, the Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma and MC Commissioner Mr Diprava Lakra said that the photo exhibition has beautifully detailed Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's life, philosophy, Udasian and Gurdwaras attached with Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Further, they said that the exhibition has also depicted the humanism and spirituality of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji who was also an ardent worshipper of nature and considered work a sacred activity.They said that the photo exhibition provides an opportunity for the youths and others to know about Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji through pictures and appealed them to must visit the exhibition.On the occasion, Mr Sharma and Mr Lakra also honoured the school students who participated in painting and quiz competitions organized during the event.They told that the main aim of such events to spread awareness regarding Guru Nanak Dev’s life and teachings in the society, especially among the youth.Director Field Publicity Mr Rajesh Bali said that the exhibition will remain open for the public on November 29 and 30 in the company Bagh. On the occasion, Additional MC Commissioner Mrs Babita Kaler, Joint Commissioner Mr Harcharan Singh and others were present.
