On the fourth day of ‘Back to Village' Phase II (B2V2), programme,  District Development Commissioner Dr Raghav Langer  along with Assistant Commissioner Development  visited Newa where he  inaugurated upgradation  of  Water Supply Scheme, Bulbul Nag and also planted Deodar saplings.DDC also attended the Gram Sabha at BDO Office Pulwama where people of various villages belonging to different Panchayat halqas apprised him about various demands raised during B2V1.The people of Parigam demanded the development of playground, repairment of interior roads and Higher Secondary for Girl students of the area. A delegation of Hakripora raised the issue of inadequate water supply and widening and cutting of trees along roadsides.Similarly residents of Lonepora ,Nowpopora Nowgam ,Karimabad and Newa demanded portable tap water, borewells, footbridge, protection bund on Nallah Romshi, upgradation of HT and LT lines .DDC gave patient hearing to the issues and demands raised by the people and assured that genuine issues will be taken for early redressal. He instructed officials of concerned departments to follow up all identified works under B2V1 for early completion.Meanwhile, Director Tourism Kashmir, Nisar Ahmad Wani visited Panchayat Halqa Pahoo, Kisergam and laid foundation of Community Sanitary Complex near playground Kisergam. He also inspected ongoing developmental works in the area. Assistant Director Forests, R K Raina visited Panchayat Halqa Noorpora Tral and inaugurated construction of two lanes at Pandith Mohla and dredging of Bunder Kul.Director General Planning, S. Bilal Ahmad inaugurated playfield in   Panchayat halqa Konibal . Director Rural Development Department toured Meej where he laid foundation stone for CSC complex and disturbed baby kits under BBBP scheme. General Manager DIC, S .Jalil laid foundation of Drain near flood Channel at Padgampora.
