Series of activities were today held across 79 Panchyats of this mountainous district as part of ambitious "Back to Village Phase II programme.The designated Gazetted Officers held meetings and interactions with members of Panchayats, prominent citizens and locals. Gram Sabhas were held whereat the officers sought feedback about the progress of the developmental projects started in the respective panchayat under various developmental programs after the Back to Village phase 1. District Development Commissioner (DDC), Dr Sagar D Doifode supervised the program. He informed that a massive public response was witnessed across all the 79 panchayats of district where the people put forth their grievances and gave real time feedback to the visiting officers.Giving details, he said that multiple activities were held like distribution of Job Cards, inauguration of the works taken up under Jal Shakti, MGNEREGA, Back to Village-I, PMGSY roads, PMAY houses.Officers from concerned line departments were accompanying the designated officers for compiling the reports of recorded grievances as per prescribed Performa for onward submission to the concerned quarters- he added.Meanwhile, Secretary FCS&CA P K Pole visited Khaleni Panchayat of Block Bhalla and chaired a meeting of gram Sabha. He made locals aware about different individual benefit schemes, approved GPDP and had meeting with frontline workers, farmers, Levendar producers and inspected important projects. The Secretary FCS &CA also inaugurated a PMGSY road at Leherote village.The pledge ceremonies to mark constitution day were also held at the all panchayats.
