Visiting officers toured allotted Panchayats and held public meetings, inspected educational institutions and development works here on the day two of second phase of the Back to Village program.In Panchayat Kankote, Deputy Secretary JKPSC Tahir Mustafa Malik held a meeting with members of panchayat and representatives of different departments. During the meeting the officer took stock of local issues. A Kabaddi match was also organised to promote sports in rural areas.In Panchayat Sheindra Lower, Director FCS&CA Jatinder Singh inspected the PMAY works, distributed uniforms to children, inspected the Office of Animal and Sheep Husbandry and planted saplings of Pecan nut at Dispensary. He also convened a meeting with the employees of different departments associated with working of Panchayat . During the meeting, he enquired about the functioning of the offices and services being provided. The officer noted down the issues put forth by the people.Later, a volleyball match was also organised in HSS Sheindra.Similar activities were held in all the panchayats under Back to village phase 2. The People were also sensitized about the Mission of B2V2 through Cultural programs organised in panchayats of tehsil Haveli, Mendhar and Surankote.Meanwhile, DDC Poonch Rahul Yadav also visited different panchayts including Fazalabad A, Fazlabad B and Mastandra to see the proceedings of the program.
