On the second day of B2V2 programme, Deputy Commissioner Shopian Chaudhary Mohammad Yasin along with Joint Director Planning Khursheed Ahmad Khatana, District Panchayat officer Shopian Tariq Ahmad and other district officers, today inaugurated Health Sub Centre Zampathri at Keller and planted Cedars and Deodar trees in its premises.
The Health Sub-centre has been constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 35.00 lakh and executed by PWD and R&B Shopian.While speaking on the occasion Deputy Commissioner Shopian listened to the issues and demands raised by the locals of the Zampathri and assured them that their genuine demands will be redressed and fulfilled at an earliest. On the occasion he also distributed 200 golden cards under Ayushman Bharat Health Scheme among the beneficiaries to enable them to avail free medical facilities at all medical institutions. He also assured that relief to snow-affected damaged orchards will be provided to the affected orchardists.Deputy Commissioner exhorted upon the officers to facilitate the people of Zampathri with all the basic amenities on priority basis.
