Back to Village-2 : Training for visiting officers for Anantnag district held

In view of the “Back to Village” programme phase-2nd to be held in 16 Blocks of the district commencing from November 25th, the master trainers today imparted training to the visiting officers designated for the programme at Auditorium Hall of GDC (Boys) Khanabal.The DDC Anantnag Mr. Khalid Jahangir on the occasion said that the government is organizing 2nd phase of the programme for reaching out to people at grassroots level through the programme ‘B2 V2’. The program is being organized from November 25th to November 30th across the Panchayats of the state. The objective of ‘B2 V2’ programme is to assess the implementation gaps, process of the projections documented in “Back to Village” programme phase 1st which was conducted during the month June 2019 and to lay a solid foundation for participatory governance by enabling people at the grass root level to develop stakeholder- ship in the development process. It will also ensure that administrative apparatus headed by senior government officers remains available at the doorsteps to assess the status of services and functioning of various government institutions.He said that the programm is also aimed at addressing the issues, grievances and demands of the people at their doorsteps to improve amenities and ensure economic upliftment.Among others the training session was also attended by ADDC, ADC, ACD and DSW, AEO, (Master Trainers).
