Kareena Kapoor Khan says when she heard the script; she knew she was perfect for the part in the forthcoming comic caper Good Newwz.Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani, Diljit Dosanjh along with Karan Johar, Raj Mehta and more graced the trailer launch of Good Newwz.When asked about the coming on-board the film and reason for doing such social message oriented drama, Kareena Kapoor said, “When Raj Mehta narrated the film, I personally thought I was perfect for the part. That’s the truth; I really wanted to do the film. It was funny and I couldn’t stop laughing during the narration”Further adding, Kareena said she trust the production house and she was the first on-board, She said, “Dharma Films, is a production house that I trust and I thought to myself, why not? The whole package is great. When the narration happened, I was the first one who came onboard, even Akshay Kumar was not on-board at the time. I didn’t know who the rest of the cast was, but I said, I wanted to trust Raj Mehta, and let’s just do it and I think it is quite funny the film”.The film revolves around two odd couple trying their hands at pregnancy with vitro fertilization but due to goof-up, their eggs and sperms get mixed, which cause a series of hilarious ramification and situations.The film is directed by debutante Raj Mehta. It is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shashank Khaitan. The story and screenplay are by Jyoti Kapoor.Good Newwz in cinemas this Christmas, 27th December.
