The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Anshul Garg today took stock of various ongoing developmental works being executed by JKPCC in the district.The DDC visited Women’s Degree College Salkoot Kupwara where he took stock of under construction academic and administrative blocks.JKPCC authorities informed him that the project is being executed at an estimated cost of Rs. 16.57 cores which include construction of academic, administrative blocks, wall fencing and leveling of playground. It was informed that the work on academic block is nearing completion and will be handed over to college authorities within a month.DC also visited additional under construction administrative block of Boys degree College Bohipora Kupwara, he directed for completing the block will be completed within the set time frame.He also directed for completing the ongoing fencing works in Women’s College Salkoot. He also directed that the concerned tehsildar for proper demarcation of college land.Earlier DDC chaired a meeting with various district officers at Mini meeting hall of DC office Complex to review the developmental works being executed under Back to Village Programme. On the occasion, the DDC directed the concerned authorities to frame a detailed project reports of developmental works being executed under the programme.
Among others JD planning, ACD, DPO, AD Handloom besides BDOs, CDPOs and other concerned attended the meeting.
