The Beas river passing through Kapurthala became the sea of spirituality today with the grand beginning of Floating Multimedia Light and Sound Show dedicated to the 550th Prakash Purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji courtesy Punjab Government. The show being organized near village Mandi Mand Kulla of Sub-Division Bholath on Beas river was inaugurated in the presence of Chief Guest District and Sessions Judge MR. Kishore Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Mr. DPS Kharbanda, Additional District and Sessions Judge Mr. Ram Kumar Singla, Ms. Rajwinder Kaur, Mr. Raman Kumar and Mr. Jaspal Verma, Civil Judge Ms. Jasvir Kaur, Mr. Mahesh Kumar and Ms Priyanka Sharma, CJM Mr. Ajit Pal Singh and SDM Bholath Mr. Randeep Singh Heer.Deputy Commissioner Mr. DPS Kharband said that the fact that a large number of people reached to witness the show is perfect testimony to its growing popularity. He further said that the show would be held on November 7 at the same venue from 7:00-7:45 pm and 8:15-9:00 pm. He further added that the main rationale behind the light and sound shows being held by the State Government is to make today's young generation aware of the life and philosophy of Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji based on social equality and against social evils and the technology is coming in handy in this sincere endeavour of the State Government.The people on the occasion appreciated the effort of the State Government regarding the light and sound shows. They expressed strong hope that this initiative held amidst the Beas river in the Kapurthala District would create history.
