Thousands of people from all sections of the society rejoiced the two-days historic Floating Light and Sound show-showcasing the life and philosophy of the First Sikh Guru Nanak Dev Ji, organised on the banks of Satluj river at Chak Bahmnia village in Dharamkot here.  The Floating Light and Sound Show, a part of celebrations planned by the state government for commemorating the 550th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev was organised on Sunday and Monday evening.The site in the village remained jam-packed on both days due to the unprecedented rush of people to watch the mega event.The audience were disseminated the message of strengthening the ethos of communal harmony, peace, brotherhood, compassion and humanity as preached by Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji through the ultra-modern technique. The mesmerised audience bathed in Guru Sahib’s glory as the light and sound show beautifully projected his philosophy in the form of his universal message to our society. Through the show, the ethos of tolerance, peace, communal harmony, women empowerment and protection of natural resources were brought alive. 

Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's efforts to promote social equality were also aptly showcased to the audience in right letter and spirit.Prominent among MLA Dharamkot Sukhjit Singh Lohgarh, Chairman Zila Parishad Inderjit Singh Talwandi Bhangeria, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC Development) Subash Chandar and Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM Moga) Narinder Singh Dhaliwal also bathed in Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's divine glow and spiritual splendour.MLA Lohgarh termed the Floating Light & Sound Show as a humble effort by the state government to spread the message to people for embracing the ideology of love, compassion, equality, peace and brotherhood propounded by Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji in its true spirit.Meanwhile, the 45-minute floating light and sound shows organised with colourful visual presentations, ultra-modern laser techniques and unique acoustics mesmerised audience by showcasing life journey of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The outdoor show unfolded into a multiple part story, immersed in a beautiful symphony of Colourful visual projections, Advanced lasers - all led by a creative soundtrack.
