The District Development Commissioner, Budgam, Tariq Hussain Ganai today chaired a meeting of officers to review status of the arrangements for the BOSE examination starting from October-29.The meeting was attended by ADC, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani, CEO, Fatima Tak, Additional SP Budgam, Muneer Ahmad, DEPO, ZEOs, Principals of Higher Secondary and High Schools, Board Officials and other concerned.During the meeting, the DDC said that section-144 CrPC shall remain imposed around all examination centers and directed concerned to ensure exams are held in peaceful and cordial atmosphere.It was given out that 101 examination centers have been established in the district, out of which 58 centres are for 6357 candidates appearing in 10th class and 43 centers for 4638 students appearing in 12th class examinations.  It was given out that 487 lecturers, teachers and other staff are empanelled as Superintendant and Deputy Superintendent for 10th and 12th examination.The DDC issued strict instructions on carrying or using mobile phones in examination centers by students as well as staff to avoid any sort of distraction during examination. He emphasized on timely collection and distribution of question and answer booklets among the candidates appearing in exam.He also directed the ASP to maintain strict vigil around examination centers while as concerned were directed to ensure all examination centers remain under close watch and ward. He also instructed the concerned to ensure all arrangements including water and toilet facilities besides heating arrangements are put in place at all examinations centres.
