Ensure hassle free arrangements for upcoming BOSE examinations: Div Com to DCs

The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan today directed all Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to ensure hassle free arrangements for the upcoming BOSE examinations.The Divisional Commissioner made these directions while chairing a meeting to review arrangements for upcoming Board of School Education (BOSE) examinations which will commence from October 29 across Kashmir Division.In the meeting, it was given out that Education department and Board of School Education shall share the details of examination centres and invigilators and Superintendent to the respective Deputy Commissioners including SSPs in order to facilitate the process of examination. The information shall include the name of the examination centre, location and name of the invigilators with contact Numbers and class wise number of students appearing in the examination.Secretary BOSE was asked to ensure deposition of examination material with the respective Police Stations well before the exams. After conclusion of the examination, said filled-in material shall be deposited in the same Police Station.The meeting was informed that Deputy Commissioners have established control rooms headed by the ADC which shall include the respective Chief Education Officer, Assistant Secretary BOSE, Officer from Police and concerned SRTC besides ARTO.In addition to the checking squads framed by the BOSE and DSEK, the concerned DC shall constitute flying squads to check and prevent copying at the examination centres.Deputy Commissioner shall impose Section 144 around the examination centres and shall deploy magistrates to each examination centre. Besides, sufficient Police deployment shall be made around the examination centre to deal any law and order situation.For hassle free transportation services to students, SRTC shall deploy adequate number of buses in each district as per the demand. Director School Education and Secretary BOSE were asked to ensure that heating arrangements put in place well before the commencement of examination.Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Dr Shahid Iqbal, Additional Commissioner Kashmir, GM SRTC, RTO Kashmir, SSP Srinagar, SSP Traffic, Joint Director Fire and Emergency Services, SE PDD, Assistant Commissioner (central) with Div Com and other concerned officers were present in the meeting where as other Deputy Commissioners of the Kashmir Division participated the meeting through video conferencing.
