While calling for making efforts for bringing vibrancy in the functioning of Jammu and Kashmir Financial Corporation (SFC), the Advisor to Governor, KK Sharma today stressed on providing quality services to the aspiring entrepreneurs and persons associated with different trade activities.The Advisor made these remarks while chairing the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Jammu and Kashmir Financial Corporation (SFC) here today.The meeting was also attended by MD SFC, Mohammad Farooq Thoker, Member Board of Directors SFC, SK Bhat, Additional Secretary Finance, Haris Handoo, representatives from Chamber and other concerned. The Advisor said that the Corporation has a mandate of providing soft loans to the small and medium entrepreneurs which is imperative for catalyzing the industrial growth in the J&K.The Advisor also directed the Corporation for taking effective measures for increasing the scope of its activities by making it more profitable and also creating awareness about the schemes being implemented by it. This, he said, would also help in attracting more youth for availing of loans and other related facilities for setting up of their own businesses.
