Giving the message of brotherhood and fraternity, the floating light and sound show in Beas river, commemorated to 550th Praksah Purab of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji, concluded at village Gandhowal near Tanda. There were 8 presentations of the show held in the district including 4 shows near Gandhowal on October 23 and 24 and 4 shows near village Terkiana on October 20 and 21. More than 20000 devotees from the various villages of the area viewed the shows those showcased the life and philosophy of Guru Nanak Dev ji.As the message of universal love and religious tolerance propounded by Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji engulfed the still night, the atmosphere was filled with a deep sense of gratitude, peace and dedication for causes ailing humanity. The unique floating Light and Sound Show organised here in the river Beas by Captain Amarinder Singh led State Government was the part of elaborate schedule to celebrate the 550th Prakash Purab, saw massive crowds thronging the venue.The hi-tech Floating Light and Sound Show was organised here for two days in river Beas near Villege Gandhowal. The shows, to be organised across the state.The Deputy Commissioner Isha Kaila said that the main rationale behind these is to ensure that the younger generation gets to know about the life and the philosophy of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji which was based on communal harmony, peace and amity, Brotherhood and considered humanity as above all. Among other dignitaries present on the occasion Ex Minister Mr.Balbir Singh Maini, SDM Jyoti Bala and various representatives of social and religious organisations along with large number of viewers. Light and Sound shows would be organized continuously for 09 days at Sultanpur Lodhi from November 04 to November 12. Floating shows would be organized in river Satluj at village Dgara of district Jallandhar on October 30 and 31. In river beas at village kishanpura, district Gurdaspur on november 01 and 02 and in river satluj at village Chhak Bahmania district Moga on November 03 and 04. Similarly in River Beas at village Sri Hargobindpur of district Gurdaspur on November 05 and 06, in river Satluj at Village Ismailpur District Jallandhar  on Nov.07 and 08, in river Beas at village Mund kulla District Kapurthala on Nov.10 and 11 and at village Budha Theh of district Amritsar on Nov. 14, 15 and 16. This show would be also organised in Sukhna Lake of Chandigarh on Nov. 18 and 19, in river Beas at Village Gagrrewal on Nov 22 and 23 and  Village Dhunda  of District Tarn Tarn on Nov. 26 and 27 and in Hushaniwala lake  of river Satluj in district Firozpur  on Nov. 29 and 30.
