The B.Ed students of Aryans College of Education in a door to door campaign appealed the people of rural areas to cast their vote on 30th April for Lok Sabha Elections in Punjab. The campaign was headed by Dr Manjula Kataria, Principal, Aryans College of Education. The students covered the nearby villages and made the people aware about their right to vote.Dr Manjula Kataria said that as Lok Sabha Elections are going to be held on 30th April in Punjab, so campaigning by Political parties has taken faster pace in the whole state. She added that in this environment, where everybody is campaigning for inpidual parties, Aryans Students without taking the name of any party appealed the people to vote atleast.

Prof A P Jain, Director, Aryans Group said that despite being educated still most of the people especially the villagers don’t take their voting right seriously, so it is need of the hour to guide them to make use of their valuable right to vote.Prof B S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group further said that as compared to boys the girls were seen more excited during the Campaign while educating the people about their voting rights. He added that Aryans students not only told the people about Lok Sabha Elections but also told them how they can contribute in making the Government.
