To review the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under various Farmers Welfare Schemes under State and Central funding and review the progress under State CAPEX plan and centrally Sponsored schemes,  Director Agriculture, Jammu P. S. Rathore today chaired a meeting of officers  here at   Krishi Bhawan.The meeting was attended by Joint Director Agriculture (Inputs),  H. S. Mankotia, Deputy Director  Agriculture (Central) Jammu,  Ravinder Thaploo, Deputy Director Agriculture (Trainings) Jammu,  Rajinder Sharma, Deputy Director (Planning),   Reshu Gupta, Chief Agriculture Officers of all Districts of Jammu Division, Farm Managers, Seed Multiplication Farms, Chinore/ Chakrohi besides sectoral heads of different Schemes of Agriculture Department. Chief Agriculture Officers Rajouri, Poonch, Kathua and Doda districts participated through Video conference.Rathore directed the officers to submit the pending DPRs regarding Organic farming, Spices development and Establishment of Permanent Foodgrain Procurement Mandies for which provision has been kept in CAPEX 2019-20. The Director further impressed upon the officers to upload the required data of all beneficiary oriented activities under centrally sponsored/State Sector Schemes at the earliest. He asked for proper documentation of all development/ farmer welfare activities at every stage of implementation for formulation of realistic and comprehensive plans at Panchayat, Block and District level.The component–wise progress of various Centrally Sponsored Farmers Welfare Programmes was also reviewed in the meeting.
