Advisor to Governor K K Sharma today directed prompt and result-oriented disposal of grievances ensuring quality deliverance of services in a time bound manner.The Advisor directed officers during the Public Grievance Redressal Camp held here which was also attended by a team of Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) who had come on a two-day visit for better understanding the mechanism for grievance redressal and also suggesting measures for improvement, if any.As many as 30 deputations and 30 individuals met the Advisor and sought his intervention in early redressal of their demands and grievances.The Deputations of contactors of Housing Board, working on piecemeal basis sought continuation of their ongoing works on old pattern.The deputations of PDD, I&FC contractors of Ganderbal, Tangmarg, Pulwama sought early release of payments of works done in their respective districts. A deputation from Mehjoor Nagar raised the issue of construction of road in their area.A deputation of daily wagers of PHE and casual labourers of R&B demanded the release of their pending wages.A deputation of employees of MC Ganderbal, Financial Assistants working in JKSPDC raised several service related issues.A deputation from Kangan raised the issue of pendency of land acquisition of the PMGSY road in their area.A deputation from Gogjipathri in Budgam sought construction of PMGSY road in their area.The Advisor also met several other delegations who raised different demands related to their service matters, basic amenties in their areas.On the occasion, the Advisor directed the officers to ensure follow up and prompt redressal of all genuine grievances raised by the deputations and individuals in the grievance cell.
