The Punjab Government would leave no stone unturned to turn the 550th Prakash Purb celebrations of Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, into memorable ones and as part of this, preparations on gigantic scale are being carried out at the places connected with Guru Sahib."This was reiterated here today by the Director, Information and Public Relations Department, Punjab,  Anindita Mitra while carrying out the minute review of the preparation for digital museum and light and Sound  show at Sultanpur Lodhi besides taking stock of the arrangments to facilitate the mediapersons during the 550th Prakash Purb celebrations scheduled from November 1 to 12.Divulging more, the Director said that the Punjab Government would organize series of functions at Sultanpur Lodhi,  where mediapersons from across the nation would visit. In order to ensure their hassle-free stay, the Punjab Government would set up a high tech media centre besides providing accommodation to them at a tented city erected near the main pandal where all facilities to them would be provided.Throwing light on the digital museum and light and sound shows , the Director  said that as per the schedule approved by the Punjab Government, the digital museum would be open from November 1st to 3rd from 7AM to 5.30 PM. The use of ultra modern techniques is sure to turn the experience of the 'Nanak Naam Leva Sangat' visiting the museum, into a visual delight.

Elaborating more, the Director said that  a 45-minute light and sound show with colourful visual presentations, State of the art laser techniques would be open for Sangat from November 2nd to 3rd  from 6.15 PM to 7 PM and 7.45 PM to 8.30 PM. From November 4 to 9 , the light and sound show would be organised  on daily basis from 7 to 7.45 in the evening whereas on November 10,11 and 12 , the shows would be organized from 7 to 7.45 and 8.30 to 9.15 at night.It is important to mention that in accordance with the schedule released by the State Government, the light and sound shows and digital museums would be conducted from 19 to 21 October at IFS College Moga, From 23 to 25 October at Guru Nanak Stadium Kapurthala, From 1 to 3 November at VIP parking Sultanpur Lodhi, From 5 to 7 November at Polytechnic College Batala, From 9 to 11 November at Grain Market Dera Baba Nanak, 13 to 15 November at Pathankot City, 17 to 19 November at PUDA grounds Gurdaspur, 21 to 23 November at Roshan Maidan Hoshiarpur, 25 to 27 November at SBS Nagar city, 29 November to 1 December at Nehru Stadium Ropar, 3 to 5 December at Chandigarh, 7 to 9 December at Fatehgarh Sahib, 11 to 13 December at Patiala city, 15 to 17 December at Sangrur, 19 to 21 December at Barnala, 23 to 25 December at Mansa city, 15 to 17 January 2020 at Bathinda city, 19 to 21 January at Muktsar Sahib city, 23 to 25 January 2020 at Fazilka town, 27 to 29 January 2020 at Faridkot town, January 31 to February 2, 2020 at Ferozepur City, 4 to 6 February 2020 at Tarn Taran City and From February 8 to 10, 2020 at Sri Amritsar Sahib.The Director exhorted the people to wholeheartedly participate in these events.
