Mrunal Thakur says that working on Toofan with Farhan Akhtar and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is fantastic, she is feeling blessed.Mrunal Thakur who is basking in the success of Batla House and Super 30 has added another big film to her list. After sharing the screen space with Hrithik Roshan and John Abraham, now actress will be seen working with Farhan Akhtar on forthcoming sports drama Toofan.Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the film is said to be a boxing drama with an endearing love story at its centre will hit screens on 2nd October 2020.Talking about the film on the sidelines of Bombay Times Fashion week, Mrunal said, “Toofan is coming! Yes, I have started shooting for Toofan, we have been shooting for it since last two days. I’ve just finished the shoot and I came here. It is wonderful to be working with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Farhan Akhtar. The film has fantastic vibes and I am feeling blessed”. Mrunal Thakur had an amazing year in terms of career. She has been part of two massive block-busters and now bagged her third big project.Talking about the success, she said, “Unless you dream about it, it won’t get fulfilled. I hadn’t that kind of confidence earlier but when I am standing here today, I realized that people around me gives me so much strength, all the women around me. When you’re surrounded by right people, you get the positive energy and feel that something good is going to happen. And that is when the good happens”Toofan is jointly produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, Mehra, P. S. Bharathi and Rajiv Tandon. The film also features Paresh Rawal and Isha Talwar.
