Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has urged the voters of Dharamshala to vote and support the BJP candidate Vishal Nehriya in the by election to ensure that the pace of development goes uninterrupted in the State. He was addressing a largely attended election rally at Ram Leela Ground, Sidhpur in Dharmashala today.The Chief Minister said that the BJP is a party with clear vision, strong leadership and developmental oriented policies. He said that the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ensured that India emerges as the World Power. He said that it was due to the political will power of the Prime Minister that today with the scrapping of Article 370, the Nation now has one “Vidhan”, One “Nishan” and one “Savindhan” which has ensured one Nation and one Constitution.The Chief Minister said that several schemes launched by the State Government have succeeded in bringing a sea change into the lives of the common man. He said that HIMCARE, Grihini Suvidha Yojna, Pension Scheme has benefitted lakhs of people of the State.Chief Minister said that the State Government has started Jan Manch which has ensured speedy redressal of public grievances. Now, the State Government has launched Chief Minister Seva Sankalp Helpline 1100 to supplement the effectiveness and usefulness of the Jan Manch. He said that all the Ministers, elected representatives and other functionaries have been asked to popularise the Chief Minister Seva Sankalp Helpline 1100. He said that the helpline was functioning six days in a week from 7 AM to 10 PM.Jai Ram Thakur said that the State Government was organizing investor's meet at Dharamshala, which would bring the city on world tourism map as thousands of businessmen and ambassadors from several country would visit Dharamshala. Besides, Prime Minister, Union Home Minister and several central ministers would also grace the occasion. He said that till date 570 MoUs worth Rs. 75,776 crore have been signed in different sectors in the State.He said that the people of the State gave their full support and ensured a landslide victory of the BJP candidates in the Lok Sabha Elections. He said that the BJP set a record in itself by winning in all the 68 assembly constituencies of the State in the Lok Sabha elections and the vote share of the BJP was highest in the State in the Lok Sabha Elections. He said that the highest victory margin in term of vote percentage was also of BJP MP Shri Kishan Kapoor which is also from Kangra parliamentary seat.Jai Ram Thakur said that State Government was laying special emphasis on strengthening of basic infrastructure and promoting industrialization with a view to make the State self-reliant and ensure inclusive development. He said that balanced and equitable development of the State was main focus of the State Government.BJP candidate Vishal Nehriya also spoke on the occasion and urged the people to provide wholehearted support to him.
