Dedicated to the 550th Parkash Purab celebrations of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, a digital museum and a light and sound show would be organised in the mela grounds of Punjab Agricultural University, here, from October 11-13, 2019. Deputy Commissioner Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal informed that people of Ludhiana will be dyed in the hues of soulful events for three days with the ultra modern shows. He informed that the life of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji would also be exhibited in the digital museum.He further informed that the digital museum would be set up at the Mela Grounds of PAU, here, from October 11-13, 2019 and people can visit it from 6:30 am to 6 pm on these three days. Similarly, on the first (October 11) and last day (October 13), two light and sound shows on each day will be held on the life of Guru Nanak Dev Ji from 7 pm-7:45 pm and from 8:30 pm-9:15 pm.It is pertinent to mention that the light and sound shows and digital museums would be conducted from 15 to 17 October at Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, from 19 to 21 October at IFS College Moga, from 23 to 25 October at Guru Nanak Stadium Kapurthala, from 1 to 3 November at VIP parking Sultanpur Lodhi, from 5 to 7 November at Polytechnic College Batala, from 9 to 11 November at Grain Market Dera Baba Nanak, 13 to 15 November at Pathankot city, 17 to 19 November at PUDA grounds Gurdaspur, 21 to 23 November at Roshan Maidan Hoshiarpur, 25 to 27 November at SBS Nagar city, 29 number to 1 December at Nehru Stadium Ropar, 3 to 5 December at Chandigarh, 7 to 9 December at Fatehgarh Sahib, 11 to 13 December in Patiala city, 15 to 17 December at Sangrur, 19 to 21 December at Barnala, 23 to 25 December at Mansa city, 15 to 17 January 2020 at Bathinda city, 19 to 21 January at Muktsar Sahib city, 23 to 25 January 2020 at Fazilka town, 27 to 29 January 2020 at Faridkot town, January 31 to February 2, 2020 at Ferozepur City, 4 to 6 February 2020 at Tarn Taran city and from February 8 to 10, 2020 at Sri Amritsar Sahib.
Mr Pradeep Kumar Agrawal informed that in all these places, the digital museum will be open to the public for 3 days continuously while the 45-minute light and sound show with colorful visual presentations, ultra-modern laser techniques and unique acoustics will be open on two days (first and lasT) and two shows would be held on these two days.The first of its kind floating light and sound shows will be the centre of attraction for the people in this series. These shows will be held at the Sukhna lake in Chandigarh and 10 districts of Punjab including Ropar, Hoshiarpur, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Gurdaspur, Moga, Kapurthala, Sri Amritsar Sahib, Tarn Taran and Ferozepur from where the Beas and Satluj rivers pass. He said that a floating light and sound show will be held on 17th and 18 October in the Sutlej river near Ropar Headworks. Similarly, on October 19 and 20, in Beas river near Terkiyana village of Hoshiarpur district, October 23 and 24 in near Ladhowal in district Ludhiana on Sutlej river and village Gandhowal in Hoshiarpur near Beas.On 30 and 31 October it will be held at Jalandhar in village Dagara near Sutlej, on November 1 and 2 in the Beas river near Kishanpur village of Gurdaspur district, on November 3 and 4 in the Sutlej river near Chak Bahamian village in Moga district, on November 5 and 6 in the village of Sri Hargobindpur, on November 7 and 8 in village Ismailpur in Jalandhar near Sutlej river, on November 10 and 11 in village Mund Kulla District Kapurthla near beas river, on 14, 15 and 16 November at village Budha Theh near Beas river at Sri Amritsar Sahib, on November 18 and 19 in the Sukhna Lake of Chandigarh, on Nov 22 and 23 at Gaggewal village of District Tarn Taran and in Beas river near village Dhunda on November 26 and 27 and on 29 and 30 November in Satluj at Hussainiwala lake in Ferozepur.At Sultanpur Lodhi, main functions dedicated to the 550th Parkash Purab of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji would be organised at Sultanpur Lodhi from November 1-12, 2019 and the mega light & sound show would be organised there from November 4-12, 2019.
