Series of Prabhat Pheris, being organised as part of Navratra Festival, today concluded with a grand final Prabhat Pheri here marking the end of the nine day annual religious and cultural event.Chief Guest, Commandant 6th Battalion of CRPF, Jitendra Gupta inaugurated today’s prabhat pheri, morning march, in presence of Joint Secretary J&K Sports Council, Shiv Kumar Sharma at Bus Stand Katra.Devotees and local artists participated in   prabhat pheri. Baldev & Party, from Uttar Pradesh, under the guidance of Manish Tiwari   presented a show on Maa Kali and Maa Saraswati. which was well received by the onlookers.Senior Citizens Forum led by Dr Sukhdev Singh also participated in the prabhat pheri and chanted devotional songs. Being the last day of the event, it was filled with evermore jubilation and enthusiasm.The Chief Guest as well as other guests were later felicitated with traditional turban and scarf. Kanya Poojan was also held after the prabhat pheri in which sweets were offered to little girls and other devotees.Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman of J&K Association of Prabhat Pheri, Raj Kumar Padha thanked all concerned for their support and coordination for making the event a grand success during each day of the nine-day festival. He particularly appreciated the role of District Administration, Health Department, Police Department, CRPF, Municipal Committee Katra, media persons and the locals of Katra for active cooperation and support.Other members of the association including Ajay Sharma, Ramnik Nawada, Aman Mahajan, Renu Ji Dhar, Vimal Sharma, Montu Sharma, Ratan Sharma and Rakesh Dubey.
