“Ensuring prompt redressal of public grievances must be the prime concern of officers”, said Divisional Commissioner, Sanjeev Verma here today.The Div Com was  speaking at the inaugural function of foundation course for officers trainees of Junior scale J&K Administration Services, Police Services and Accounts Services, batch  2016 organised by J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development, (IMPARD) at Rajinder Singh Auditorium university of Jammu.The function  was attended by Director General, J&K IMPARD, Farooq Ahmed Lone, Director Trainings J&K IMPARD, Kashmir, Dr Mushtaq A Khan, Director Trainings J&K IMPARD,  Jammu, Dr Reva Sharma, Professor Sunita Zalpuri and other faculty members of IMPARD and trainees of J&K Administration Services, Police Services and Accounts  Services, batch 2016.The Divisional Commissioner welcomed the trainees in services and said that we have the best civil servants in the country. He urged upon the  revenue administration officers for best learning of revenue laws and implementation of the same.Other dignitaries, speaking on the occasion, informed that the  objective of the training is to familiarize the trainees with the aims, objectives, perspectives and functioning of the government and helping them to meet the  contemporary challenges in the civil services. Inculcating basic values, attitudes, self discipline, propriety, integrity, dignity of labour and spirit of camaraderie as pre- requisite for ensuring a responsive administration, supported by personal and organizational development, he added.The training programme has been designed to  expose participants to the topics and other allied issues regarding functioning of the J&K state.
