Director Agriculture, Jammu S. Rathore, today reviewed the achievement of the department under the State CAPEX budget, 2019-20, here at a meeting. The Meeting  was attended by Joint Director Agriculture (Inputs), B. K. Zutshi, Assistant Director Planning (APD), Raman Sharma, Deputy Director (Planning), Directorate of  Agriculture, Reshu Gupta, Executive Engineer, Horticulture Planning and Marketing, Jammu, Ajeet Singh, Chief Agriculture Officers of all Districts of Jammu Division,  Farm Managers, Seed Multiplication Farms, Chirore/ Chakrohi besides sectoral heads of different Schemes of Agriculture Department.Rathore stressed upon all the  officers to make judicious and timely utilization of funds and maintain documents right from pre-execution (Planning) stage. He called for formulation of realistic and  comprehensive plans at Panchayat, Block and District level. He called for proper coordination among Agriculture Department and the engineering wing of Horticulture  Planning and Marketing Department, for timely execution of developmental works.  He further directed the officers to submit the pending DPRs at the earliest so that  funds could be released accordingly.It was informed in the meeting that about 70% of expenditure of released funds has been achieved till date   and balance targets will  be achieved in due course.The aims, objectives, scope and nature of projects being implemented by the Departments were discussed in detail.The Director stressed on  identification of eligible beneficiaries and rational allocation of targets for equitable development of all areas.
